We have been trying to figure out which hose we need, It was leaking pressure and was causing the motor to idle very speratic, it's a 90* elbow about 6" if it were flat and not bent (no pun intended!) I have pics, hopfully I can post them on here. one end of the rubber tube had a wider/thicker end, the other end just looked like a reg tube. No metal pieces, or adaptors, etc. just a 90* rubber tube, around the EGR maybe? For sure it's right around/behind and a little under the air handler, when we squeezed the hose with pressure, the funny idling stopped! Now the old hose was garbage and Ford can't even find me the right part, the car won't drive to Ford without it! If I can't attatch pics to this question, then I could email them to you to show you the area. If someone could send me a pic and a part number, that would be a Godsend as it is my mother's car and she need it!!! Thanks guys!
I know excactly which hose you are talking about. The elbow is not available seperate, you have to replace the whole vacuum line assembly. It is still available, I dont have a part number but if the dealership cant find it, then go to one where the know what they are talkin about.
