A SERIOUS question about my Camry?
One of my cars is a '97 Camry V6 (1MZ-FE).I have 7 lbs of boost, a FMIC, 330cc 2JZ injectors, a 255 lph Walbro pump, an A'PEXI S-AFC, & an AEM UEGO wide band. Now The problem is I cant find a sensor setting for the S-AFC. It has gone 12-12/1 in -1 out, and it wouldn't let me adjust the fuel. AFR stays at 14.3-15.8 until I hit full throttle, then all of a sudden I get no power, I've tried other settings but the same things happen, and airflow never went past 42.7%. Do I (Should I?) install a fuel pressure regulator, return system, and an FMU
Id start with a regulator. If you are running the stock 1mz regultor im sure its starving for fuel. I wouldn't go with an FMU just yet. It will probably make the car run really rich at idle. That camry sounds badass and a 97 is even more different. I could the mcv10(92 to 96) but a 20 is very unique. Start with a regulator and return system. Either that or you may have too small a wire to the walbro and it leans out on boost due to low volume
