Hood Spacers? what can i make them out of?
Im planning on making some hood spacers for the hood on my car, but im not trying to spend 30 bucks on a little piece of aluminum.What can i use to make them? i was thinking just getting a thing piece of steel like small square tubing, or even just adding washers in between the bolt and the bottom of the hood bracket
I don't know how mush space you need but Home Depot and Low es has inexpensive short sticks of small square tubing. You could also look around for industrial strength *thick washers also. You'll find these on the McMaster Carr website.
