Whats the difference between chrome moly and mild steel?
I was looking at buying some lower a-arms for my 1995 z28 and want to know the difference which one is better?
They make tools from chrome moly because it is hard and tough, it is mild steel with chromium and molybedenum added to give the added strength.
I would guess them that the chrom moly would be better because it would be stiffer and give better handling and strength, whether a normal driver would notice is debatable!
