What's wrong with my 1995 Chevy Beretta Z26?
Ok, so whenever i try to start my car in the morning it takes multiple tries just to get it going; once it's going it runs just fine. But if i turn it off and let it sit for a little bit and try to restart it wont start. you have to let it sit for hours just for it to start fine. Whenever it does decide to start it's hard to get it in gear. Once you put it in gear it will shake then die out. Also, whenever i am at a stop sign/light, i stop and when i try to go again its shaky and you literally have to floor it to get it going. whenever im at a stoplight/sign i have to keep 1 foot on the brake and 1 foot on the gas just to keep it running.
I have no idea what the problem is we already changed the following..
Spark plugs, Spark plug wires, coils, control module, crankshaft positioning sensor, and the fuel filter.
Do any of you guys know what i could be? thanks
Idle air control valve, dirty throttle body and intake, lot of deposit on intake valves, leaky intake gaskets, vacuum leaks, bad fuel pressure, mass air flow sensor or air inlet hose leaks, O2 sensor not reading properly. Those are the most common things that cause the syntoms you mentioned. Do you have a check engine light? Check what the codes are.
