Why are Republpukes against universal healthcare?
All studies point to the failing health of americans due to lack of access to affordable healthcare. The right wingers always bleat out the same old tired mantra that universal healthcare is "socialist". That is absolute rubbish, who would call Germany, France, the U.K., Australia, New Zealand, Netherlands, Austria are "socialist"??? They are all thriving CAPITALIST countries high standards of living...with universal healthcare, and have had for decades. Is the sky falling or black clouds of doom looming?? No!! according to the latest U.N. WHO report, the U.S. has fallen to 49th on life expectancy. What amazes me about the American Right Wing proclaim to be "christians"..well, I don't what "Jesus" they pray to but he must preach that greed, selfishness, lack of compassion and taking care of less than 3% of the population is "good", the Jesus i pray to preaches the complete opposite.
Because they know that it will work and that it will bring votes to the Democrats.
That and those who back them profit out of the current system.

FACT - Insurance companies in the USA before the reforms pushed up prices, did not pay out claims when they should and bought or blackmailed politicians [1]
FACT - PER PERSON the USA spends more on healthcare than any other nation on the planet [2]
FACT - Obama debated his plans before the election for healthcare [3]
FACT - the chance of a child under five of dying in the USA is greater than industrialised nations with universal health coverage [4]
FACT - Obama was elected to bring in change [5]
FACT - Obama wants to stop insurance companies from screwing America [6]
FACT - The reforms Obama wants work in the Netherlands and Switzerland [7]
