There is this thing that I cant remember the name to but you have to take a C clamp and push it together to get new brake pads on.. You take 2 bolts off and theres a hose hooked to the thing.. Well that leaked brake fluid or something and I need a new one.. I just CANT remember the name. Please help lol.
yes it is the Caliper. But hey! make sure the fluid is not coming from the hose that goes to it. To be sure you have to have it removed and see if fluid is coming from those caliper pistons and not seeping from the bleeder valve either. calipers dont leak very easily you know so I would at least check it out before you just go spending a bunch of money on one thing and it winding up to be another. The hoses going to the caliper are much more prone to leakage than the caliper itself. Just because there is brake fluid on the caliper does not prove that is where it is leaking from. Make sure you can physically see the fluid coming out of the part that is leaking, and like I said, it is much more likely to be the caliper brake line than the caliper itself.
