what is the problem with my 1990 dodge w250?
The truck will die unless i keep on the throttle, resulting in having to push the throttle, brakes, and clutch at the same time. The oil pressure gauge also says I have no oil pressure and the oil light is on, are both of these the same problem, or could there be more than one issue?
you need to run a manual check on the oil pressure and verify that its running good pressure, the switch will make that truck run like that if its going bad,its a safety feature that's suppose to keep you from ruining the engine in the case that it senses low oil pressure,if it were me id try replacing the oil sending unit on it first ands see if that helps it any ,good luck.
