i traded for what appears to be a 1972 mustang sprint sportroof w/351 auto trans.i cannot find a serial# on it?
the factory paint & interior & chrome air cleaner shows it to be a 1972 mustang sprint as described above.it has a chrome air breather top with what appears to be a factory sticker(351 4v)on it..i have been unable to find any vin # anywhere on the car.it is originally an alabama car & alabama does not & will not issue a title for any vehicle under a 1975 year model.the owner could not locate the original tag receipt on this car..i also have no idea who last registered this car...is there any hidden vin# on this car body or frame anywhere?i must find one somehow...
No tag on the dash pad at the bottom inside right under the windshield?
The VIN number should also be stamped onto the under hood top mounting lip on the left (driver's side) fender. Sometimes you will also find a tag attached to the side of the radiator support.
It's a long shot, but you might want to check under the rear seat cushion for a build sheet or behind the glove box for an old registration or warranty card.
