What would cause Tractor Hydraulic fluid to foam?
My dad's Chinese make tractor's hydraulic fluid that raises the front loading bucket continues to foam. Dad has changed the fluid several times, and he has put I don't know how many new parts in. He thinks it is because air has become trapped in the lines, but he is unsure how to get the air out! If unwanted air is the problem how does he go about getting it out? A HUGE 'Thank You' to anyone who can help us in even the slightest way!

sounds like you may have a problem on the suction side of the hydro. system, it could be the suction hose it self or a connection, also it is possible that the seals in side of the hydro pump are leaking or sucking air. just make sure the hydro tank is clean no water or other stuff. also some types of hydro oil are different. mineral oil as a base. make sure you are using the correct type of oil for your system. excessive heat in the system can also cause the same thing. meaning a cylinder is bypassing inside adding to the extra heat.hydro systems are self bleeding because of the related pressures. hopes this helps.
