So I've had mine for about 4 years and I just took it out of the box again to fix it up and get it running. I took apart the whole engine because I couldn't even turn the flywheel because there was so much gunk in the engine, so I got it all cleaned and put back together minus the carburetor. Now when I spin the flywheel it has pretty good compression and tomorrow I'm going to rebuild the carburetor and replace that unicorn blue thing. Also I have a thing of fuel that I never opened from 2 years ago, will it still be okay to use? Also I'm probably going to get back into to driving it a lot more and if the engine doesn't work I'm not going to rebuild, I'll just buy a new bigger one. So how is the 3.3? Is it a lot better? Or should I go with a totally different engine? I don't want to get a conversion kit, I just want one that I can drop in.

If the fuel was not in extreme hot and cold temperatures it's fine,like winter and summer.I have the T-MAXX 3.3 and it's unreal compared to the 2.5,if you use a 3.3 in a 2.5,you have to upgrade the drive train,drive shafts and basically alot of other parts.Mine was a 2.5 and i broke all this stuff cause i was unaware that they're way to weak for the 3.3.Mail me if you want more info.
