Hey, I like your choice on the radios! I remember old AM-only radios with the vibrator power supplies that sometimes--when they needed replacing--buzzed louder than the stations played. They did give some pretty smooth DC.
I'd love to see LESS stuff under the hood, so we could actually work on things. Accessible spark plugs would win my heart, such as in my 1988 Audi with its 5-cylinder engine. I can easily reach all the plugs without being a contortionist.
And of course the saying goes, "every car had at least one good bottle opener somewhere."
"Suicide doors" were not exactly a safety feature, but they were so cool looking. A few cars still use them, such as certain limousines.
Huge back seats had their value, too, as did just plain roominess in the whole car.
