how to install a car alarm on a 1996 civic si?
i have a car alarm with a remote starter and i need help with the wires. i just need help for the 6P, 7P (remote start) and 8P. i need to know where to connect the wires fron the alarm to the car. i have a 96 civic si. here is the manual http://img245.imageshack.us/my.php?image=cauq4.jpg

Keep in mind you have no Ignition 2 wire , Instead you have 2 accessory wires and both need to be powered up. You should test your wires before hooking.
* Note - Not all wires are used in every application.
6P looks like the only wire to be used in this cluster is the Orange wire which is actually your starter disable wire. Keep in mind you'll need to interface this wire via a SPDT bosch 30 amp relay.
The other wires should be cut at different intervals and taped within the harness.
7p you'll use the purple/white that goes to the blue tach wire.The other wires should be cut at different intervals and taped within the harness.
8p - Grey goes to the hood pin switch that needs to be installed.
brown off module to green/white at brake pedal
yellow ties into your ignition 1 which will be blak/yellow at your ign. harness.
green door trigger wire ties into light gree/red you can find it low in drivers kick panel .
The other wires should be cut at different intervals and taped within the harness.
