Someone let me know if I'm wrong, but is any honda or acura with an H or F series motor able to swap with any H or F series motor? And same with B and D series? It seems as if the H is to the F series, what the B is to the D series. The way I see it is that Preludes and Accords you can basically switch with. And Civics, del sols, crx's you can swap with integra b series'. However what would happen if you tried to put an H or F series into a D series car like a civic? Or if you tried to put and H or F into a B series like an integra? I'm confused on why preludes and accords really just have the H and the F series to swap between while all the other hondas are B and D series compatable

The most common swap is a b16 swap... usually the people have a D series motor which is the SOHC engine. The B16a2 is a DOHC engine with vtec from a Civic Si
the f20c is from a s2000 which is rear wheel drive so hats limited on swaps, unless you are pro and do a rear wheel drive conversion ;]
the h series engines are from preludes and some accords
D series are all SOHC and some with vtec
b18 is mostly integras and preludes too
D series to B series is most common
the most baller swap is the K series swap in a civic
you can do many swaps, some just take more effort than others
