Hi I'm 16 and I'll be needing a car to go to school because the bus is killing me with being so late. I love cars and when I saw the Del Sol I was amazed at how nice it looked. I just wanted to know whether it was a good first time car and I was also wondering what insurance might cost. Best answer will get 10 points.
I probably won't get the car till i'm 17. Will my insurance go down because of being a year younger and if i put the insurance in my parents policy will i get a good discount?

Its a great car dont let anyone tell you different. Just make sure you have a mechanic check it over before you buy it. Its nice to know that the car you just got wont crap out on you 10 miles down the road. There great cars mines got 175,xxx on it and she purrs like a kitten. If you can get an Si model with the d16z6 engine.Its quite suprisieng what that little single cam vtec can do. That should be plenty of pep for a first time driver, but if you find a VTEC model with a b16 it'l be well worth it in the long run, just make sure you can handle it! Insurance wise its gonna cost you lotsa $$ cuz your a young first time driver. Being on your parents will knock it down a bit just make sure you dont get alot of tickets tho cuz then they'll most likely drop you so there premiums dont go up. good luck with it man!
