are forged H-beam connecting rods rated in crank or wheel hp?
ive been looking at connecting rod sets & they are rated 700-750hp, does this usually tend to be crank hp or wheel hp?
HP at the crank. Be careful about using the stated HP rating, there are no standards for these ratings. Someone could put cheap chinese rods in a box and label them as 1,000hp rods. Look at the ratings on car stereo equipment - do you really think a real 1,000 watt amp can be sold new for $39. You usually get what you pay for.
