i purchased 02 wrx with defi exhaust temp. and turbo boost gauge controlled by defi link. wrx has blitz sd-i seqential boost controller. wrx has dastek - turbo xs piggyback from 2002. led light on chipboard doesn't come on but everything i can see looks to be hooked up. everything else is stock. i emailed dastek and turbo xs asked for instructions on the piggyback. they both said that it was too old for them to keep instructions. anybody's help would be appreciated with this. car feels sluggish to me. also how much horsepower should i have?
If they won't provide support anymore, I would disconnect the thing and look for new engine management. 02 - 03's have a pretty easy ECU that will work with the mods you have. If you do this, keep the boost controller set to no more than 15 lbs and you should be fine. Sorry I have no help on the unit you have now but I just think if your car is not running right with it and you can't get help, it's best to change. Just get a Tactrix cable and down load Open ECu for free and you can reflash your ECU with maps set for your mods or even do your own tuning. The cable is less than $100
