how would you make a v6 dakota sound "street" or loud?
hey, im wondering if its possible to make a v6 dakota truck to sound street...like a racer. or loud. ive tried a couple diffrent things. first i tried no cat with one pipe. now i have a y pipe right after the muffler. it is a 40 series flowmaster. single in and single out, but with a pipe connected to the single out int he shape of a y. it doesnt sound to good...it sounds kind of flabby almost? i do have a cat converter on it because my "check engine" light would come on if i didnt. anyway..my question is how would i make it sound better? ive spent a quite a bit of money trying diffrent things...but i havnt really liked any of the results.
well straight pipes would be the loudest but flowmaster 40 series is defiantly a second. i don't know how much louder its going to get. you could try magnaflows or bassani for a richer deeper tone but there not going to be nearly as loud as straights... after all you have to remember its a v6
