Brake booster or master cyl? * Additional?
Chrysler Town and Country minivan. 3.3 engine mounted transverse .... and crowded.
In addition ...... I get no change in pedal pressure whether the engine is running or not.
No, I didn't find any leakage before changing the master cyl.........I just "assumed" since the pedal went to the floor. Never saw fluid on the ground underneath before changing.
Is there anyrhing "special" I should have done before installing the new cyl? As far as I could tell, the instalation was pretty straightforward. No alignment pins other than the obvious bolt-ups, new cyl came w/ new seal.
Seems I might have a couple problems ..... and I REALLY don't look forward to changing the booster looking at the way it's mounted (crammed/surrounded) in the engine compartment - taking a 12 in. cyl out through a 6 in. opening ain't gonna be fun.
They are right. Bleed the system.
