Goodyear tires, is that all they offer for NASCAR ?

In support of Tony Stewart's comments on Goodyear tires, I myself belong to the oldest speedway in Michigan , Whittemore Speedway,it is a 1/4 mile track started out Dirt but is now Black-top with a banking similar to Datona on somewhat smaller scale, that being told, What is wrong with going to Hoosier's on the short tracks?

Hoosier released a statement last week that they are not interested in NASCAR. Besides, Goodyear has a contract to be the only provider through 2012.
Finally, the tire wars in the early 90s were a dangerous time. Read up on Neil Bonnett who crashed due to a Hoosier tire failure during the wars http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neil_Bonnett
