my car has leaked oil all over the rd the engine is bone dry of oil.... help?
oil all over rd (Vauxhall Corsa 52 plate)

Kerri, no-one can tell you without looking at it what the problem might be. It's going to be pretty obvious though to lose all the oil in one go. Could be several things, including a loose oil filter, a loose sump bolt, a split in the sump and so on. You've checked the sump plug is in place, that's one out of the way. Is it, though, done up tight?
Try thumbing through the local phone book and Yellow Pages for a "mobile mechanic". I take it you don't belong to the AA or whatever.
