Will spilled water underneath the aquarium stand dry off?
Water spilled from the sump filter cuz the filter pad holder overflowed. I don't know exactly how much spilled but it took two kitchen towels to soak up the water inside the stand. It leaked onto the tile floor as well but the rug soaked it up. There is still some water trapped underneath the sump (btwn sump and floor of stand). And I'm assuming there is a collection of water underneath the stand too. Should I empty the sump and remove it to dry the floor of the stand or will it eventually dry? It's a 20 gallon sump. I'm assuming there is also water underneath the stand itself. What can i do to dry that? Will it dry eventually? Of course I cannot move the tank and stand because its too much hassle/heavy (135 gallon tank)
how about the tile floor (with grout) underneath the stand?
my stands probably soaked up 40 gallons by now, just let it dry out its just wood
