can i bend metal with out warping by using vise and hammer?
ok im building a go kart from scratch. parts im using are scrap from my garage.I have completed motor motor fram fram mount rear wheels and half the bottom skid plate board that has no cross members yet.
working on my suspension i was going to make control arms but decided to go the other way right now.
(mini go kart)
ok so i have 5/8's metal rod to fit in the wheel bearing then i got a flat piece of steel i need to bend 2 90's at the end for both sides of the wheels.
i have a vise a torch and a hammer. can this work or should i just cut the pieces and weld them? im a noob welder says the hole in my exhuast pipe that i made the size of a quarter lol.
