I have an 87 stanza that starts and idles fine. Once it warms up and you are driving around it starts to act up. I stop at a light, when I start to go it bogs badly than after i get a little speed up it runs great? I have replaced the air filter, I sprayed flamable brake fluid around all the vacumme hoses and valve cover to see if i have any vacumme leaks but found none. In the summer it runs awsome? Winters not so good. Tempted to put a bullet in it and call it quits.
No I have never been able to figure out how to pull the codes off the computer. Any links or how to's would be appreciated. I suspect it might be MAF sensor is dirty or something, but it is almost impossible to get at.
TRY carburator cleaner it will locate the vacuum leaks better do you know where the ECM is and how to retreve the codes in mode 3 Your car might need several things NapZ 8 spark plug engines really suffered ingnition system and distributor rotor problems. You need to find an old (52) year old nissan mechanic like me who worked on those. I kind of like the bullet idea set up the cameras and tell me when you post it on You Tube. Nissan Cars are much better now.
