I'm attempting toequip my lex sc4 with a twin twin turbo sytem. I bought exhaust flanges from lextreme and custom built an exhaust to accept the t-twins and am about finished with that process. I'm wondering if it's worth the trouble to run a purge into the intercooler to cool the air further. My internals are right for punishment. Should I go with it or is it worth the bucks. Spent way too much already
Do you have an airmass sensor? if so, purge the NOS far ahead of the sensor so the additional increased air density will be meterd and the fuel can be added correctly without being too lean. Using NOS to cool only air(mostly dead space vs air/fuel mixture), is inefficient, but since you're purging instead of wasting it, it's a free cold shot. Don't expect much in HP gains. Probably not worth spending alot of bucks.
