Help with a '95 Caprice (Impala SS Clone)?
I have a 1995 Chevy Caprice (Impala SS Clone)... It runs fine and will die after about 30 minutes, after that it takes about an hour to start back up again. It's not overheating... I think the problem's electrical. A mechanic friend of mine thought it might be the ignition coil, so I bought and installed an MSD hei coil, but I let the car idle for about 30 minutes after I put it in and the same thing happened... any ideas, anyone?

What are 'high tension wires'?
Someone asked..."Possible idle air control valve or mass air flow sensor. Does it die out on acceleration or just sitting at idle? Do you have a check engine light on? Do you smell fuel on restart, does it crank excessive or not at all? Need more information."
Dies out sitting idle OR driving... I think there's a "check gauges" light on... cranks excessive, and I do smell a lot of fuel.
Could be a fuel leak. Check the pressure on you fuel manifold. Fuel can leak out and evaporate without you noticing it, other than the smell.
