fuel cell installation?
i am going to install a fuel cell in my '71 dart rather then keep wrestling w/the tank.1)am i going to need to by a new sending unit?2)the drag tanks which tend to be cheaper say-no bolts to come loose.then how the hell do you mount it?should i just stick w/the economy fuel cell and break down and buy the mounting bracket?
this car is not going to be a dragster, but eventually a low-rider
I guess I'm a little confused on how you plan to use a fuel cell on a 71 Dodge Dart? A fuel cell will only make electric and water by combining the H2O back together. or the reverse and makes hydrogen and Oxygen by applying electric to it?
Have you installed electric motors on this car?
Maybe you are talking about using a reactor like using 13 plates of zinc setting in water with salt or some other catlast hitting it with about 30 amps at 2 volts to make hydrogen and Oxygen and pumping it into your carbrator?
I feel from reading your queston you are not real clear on what you have or doing and need to do a lot more reading.
Go to groups.yahoo.com and search water car. Read and re-read.
I wish you luck. I have been expermenting with this stuff for a couple of years. It is not all it is made out to be. You have to understand what to expect from your project. It is like buying a solar panel. People think just buy a solar panel and all your electric needs will be taken care of. There is a lot more to it then you think.
