Can epoxy be used to fix a broken fuel pump housing on a car? It would be exposed to gas.?
I broke the fuel housing on my parents van, and I need a way to fix it. I know the best solution is to replace it, but no one has $100.00 Could I use epoxy and reattach the broken parts? The part that is broken is the fuel outlet and inlet, so the epoxy would be exposed to gasoline.
no it must be replaced.the fuel pressure might be too high.also the gas might eat the epoxy away.
