constant oil leak on a 1984 fiero?
i have the sweet 84 fiero with the 2.5 Iron Duke and i know this car inside and out, trust me. i had to take off the timing gear cover. and when i put it back on i used RTV all the way around. but now it leaks where the cover meets up with the oil pan. i didnt want to use a ton of RTV, it just looks ugly. but is that the best way to keeping the oil in?
i use "right stuff" only and allow the engine to sit before running you may need to play with the oil pan edge if you use to much wait for it to dry then remove excess.
