Does AVG 2011 free-addition Antivirus have a firewall?
Just wondering if the free version of AVG has some sort of built-in firewall? There is no "Firewall" heading in the User Interface screen, but maybe it's hidden..
I'm having trouble using a networked HP scanner. I've allowed the necessary exceptions and ports in the Windows firewall, but it's still not scanning to the PC.
(Under Tools --> Advanced Settings, there are options to modify the following: Identity protection Allowed list, PUP Exceptions, and Resident Shield Excluded Items. Do I need to modify any of these lists to get the scanner to scan to the PC?)

No the free edition of AVG does not have a firewall but the anti-virus engine can some how be blocking your HP scanner.
