On the ages of HIGH GAS prices.... does it really make difference which grade of fuel is best for your car? Most of the affordable mid-size car models suggest the lowest 'unleaded' gasoline. Does 'plus' and even 'premium' fuel grades makes any difference in your car's performance?
it does make a difference, to put it simply different cars need different amounts of octane to perform their best. Since you bought a new car you should either go for the best or whatever you manual says. I wouldn't go cheap because of the gas prices, and since you got a car which does 16-25(v6 model) that's decent. Also another thing to consider is how long you want to keep the car, if it's just something you're going to keep for about five years then maybe going cheap wouldn't be too much of a problem but if you're going to keep it for more than five years I would go with recommended so you don't have to service it too often.
