How to run high quality movies on a slow processor ?

I have a very slow processor ( Intel Pentium 4 2.00 GHz . On board graphics . ) & am trying to run a movie of high quality (I think its 720p . I am not sure .) . I use TuneUp Utilities 2010 to speed up my PC (Alsi turbo mode) . Even in the turbo mode the movie hangs a little ( Cannot cope with it . ) I used VLC first but later switched to KM Player . There was a little difference but not much .

What do I do ?

Then I heard of Core AVC Pro that speeds up movies . But how to use it ?

You run it at the native resolution and not try to run it full screen.
