My new ranger has a squeak in the rear end after lifting, any ideas?
I recently lifted my 2008 ford ranger. I used a 3 inch block and a 2 1/2 add a leaf. And now it squeaks and creaks all of the time. I've checked the bolts to make sure they are torqued, and have also used the spray lube. And it is still there. Any Ideas?
Front and rear bushing on the leafs. When you changed the angle they are now in a bind. Shoot some grease in them and the noise will stop. Make sure you get the grease on the inside and out sides of the rubber next to all metal.
They will adjust themselves after you do this, and no longer be in a bind.
