Do I have to have a turbo/supercharger to add an intercooler to my cavalier. Cause its starting to run hot I was planning to change the radiator but i mite as well drop the radiator and add an intercooler if so. An is their any other ways I can make it run cooler. Cause i just added headers and back an it is starting to rev a lot higher then before so i need to keep it real cool. anything guys!.thanks for all who may help
an intecooler wont make you engine run cooler, it just cools the intake air. you dont have to have a turbo, but it wont make a difference without one. i guess you could put in a high performance radiator, but your cooling system should cool your engine fine if its working/flowing properly. get it checked out (leaks, blockage) first
