Small block chevy 350 1985 crate motor?
I'm building a Jeep and I put in a sbc 350 crate motor. I need to buy all new brackets and pulleys for the front of the motor. I'm looking at serpentine kits and factory replacements but I don't know whether I need a short pump kit or a long pump kit? Does it matter?
Well the short pumps where never offered with a serpentine belt so i would say that might be out. Short pump means the water pump pulley will be closer to the front of the motor. If they offer serpentine kits for the short pump I would go with that, give you some more room.
