can i put a Methanol Injection Kit on a 77 chevy 350 silverado?
i was told that it would make my engine run cooler and wouldnt harm it because it is cast iron. i was also told that i would get a 50-70 hp gain. is this info accurate? what kind of kit should i buy?
You can but you shouldn't, in 1977 they used low compression and the only reason to run methanol injection is to make high compression engines run on lower octane fuel or so you can run high boost. You will see nearly a zero increase in HP
