which batter should I connect my fish finders too in my boat?
I have 3 batteries in the back of my boat. one is for cranking the other 2 will run my 12 volt bow mount trolling motor and my transom mount trolling motor along with an anchor winch, the other battery is going to be hooked to the gas motor for cranking. I will have 2 small GPS/fish finder combo units one on the casting deck one at the console. The question I have is which battery should I connect them too the cranking or the other 2. I heard that hooking them to the trolling motor battery could produce some interference with the sonar. Thanks in advance.
Hook it to your starting battery, because the current draw is minimal, plus if your engine has an alternator, it will keep the battery charged
