Pass Valve Secondary

Pass Valve Secondary
my 93 mustang keeps going in-and-out of "limp-home" mode. I have had the ECM checked and it's fine. new TPS ??

2.3L engine 4cyl
replaced ;
both primary and secondary coils,all 8 plugs and wires, PVC valve ,TPS, air filter, fuel filter

tested and passed;
compression, fuel pressure

Limp home can mean a lot of things....

Usually limp home it sees something major... If you replaced the TP, read the codes from the EEC computer (Look up EEC IV computer code reading on the net)

But I've seen bad ECT (engine coolant temperature), IAT (Intake air temperature), and MAP/MAF (either/or you won't have both... one measure manifold vaccum, the other measures the actual air coming in to the motor)

If you get one of these sensors to read wrong goign down the highway... you'll see the limp home mode kick in, as well as some of the other stuff you've changed already
