I have a 1978 ford bronco and i know that there is no pressure in the lines at all. a part of them is cut out and i think at least i might have to bench bleed the master cylinder again because there is no fluid. but when i push the brake pedal it has absolutely no spring back and i know in the brake booster and master cyllinder there is a spring that i thought pushed the pedal back up even if there wasnt any fluid. i was wondering if this was an issue or do i just need to replace the brake line and bleed everything for it to be fixed.
Yes rebleed the master cylinder,fix any open line as it will suck air when you push and release the pedal.then bleed all lines once you get good pedal then start it to make sure the vacuum booster is good.
