Should I take the pipe after my muffler off? 98 Ford mustang V6?
I have a 1998 ford mustang v6 and just put a flowmaster 40 on it and thought it was a little too quiet. So i was wondering if i should just take off the pipe (that connects to the muffler and goes above axle and out under the bumper) off? Will this make my flowmaster more noticeable?
There's a difference between "loud" and "good". I have yet to see a 3.8L/4.2L that didn't sound like a farming implement when the exhaust is opened up.
