High performance and California law. Hello everyone my question is about high performance cars. I have a Honda Prelude and I am to maintain high performance. I would like to know if it is not desert or comments about a cop who arrested me just because you think your car has high performance parts and if you have a turbo is prohibited. desert and if I can have what I want while not in use. I can't understand most of your question. However, a police officer can pull you over when he has reasonable suspicion that a vehicle code has been violated. This is a lower threshold than probable cause. Mind you it is more than just "suspicion", but suspicion based on something that can be explained.
Once you are pulled over, they can inspect your engine for illegal aftermarket parts.
