I have recently had to replace the main fan clutch and that should have cured the air circulation problem at idle speeds but the A/C is stil hot even on the freeway. I have purchased a charge kit and the pressure gauge on the can says that the low pressure line is to high 100+. please give recomendations on anything else it could be other than the compressor. thank you
Did you have the AC turned on, high fan when you checked it? If yes, then there's some reason why your compressor wasn't running. Usually the casue is loss of refrigerant but as I said, you don't seem to have that problem. Other possible causes are blown fuse, bad relay, faulty low pressure switch, or failed compressor clutch. Start with the easiest thing and look for a blown fuse. The other items can be troubleshot but this requires knowing the wiring layout, having a multi-meter, and ability to know what to check.
