How can I make my 89 automatic mustang faster?
Its got a 351w engine with a c4 tranmission. Msd ignition, AED holley 750 dp, 3.73 posi gear,ford racing intake, BTE 3500 stall, Bullet custom grind cam, B&M shifter
Great setup but those ford stroker kits are gnarly. Also might want to look at trickflow heads. Cant remember the model number but i had a friend who got a 93 hp gain just by bolting those heads on. Stock engine with a holley dp and single plane highrise intake. That amazed me. With a bigger cam the power his 351 put out blew my mind. The way your setup sounds it looks like youre goin for quarter mile time. Im assuming youve already looked into nitrous... Turbos are always fun. Just make sure you run an air to air cooler. As long as youre hookin up good at the rear tires the sky is the limit.
