cbr f4 rear brake caliper problem?
i have a 1999 cbr f4 i changed the brake pads in the front and they work fine the problem i am having is with the rear caliper no matter how many times i pump and bleed them they dont compress the calipers seem to be stuck what should i do
Maybe hold the brake pedal down with something and undo the reservoir top. Leave it overnight and any bubbles present that won't bleed through will exit the system via the open cap.
If this doesn't help take the caliper off and check the piston is actually moving when the pedal is pressed. Without pads it should be possible to pump the piston right out of the caliper, but stop before this happens. Clean the piston with WD40, push it back, then see if it moves out easier than before when the pedal is pressed.
