my Honda Odyssey1997 keeps stopping then later starts again?
My Odyssey suddenly stops as though running out of fuel. It would then crank over but not fire. It got towed to a garage then started and runs fine. A computer diagnostic check found no fault logged. 2 months later exactly the same. we tried changing the fuel pump regulator. 1 week later it has stopped again. Towed home as is the weekend but not started yet as battery flat.
i had the same problem on a car i use to own and it would go about twenty six miles every time and stop . i would wait a few minutes and it would start up and run fine again only to do it over and over . i took it to a shop because i did'nt have time to fix it myself and they sold me a bunch of crap that did'nt fix it so i diagnosed it myself anyway . it turned out to be the filter on the fuel pump in the fuel tank so for you ,, I would replace any external fuel filters first and see if the problem go's away and if not then have the tank pump replaced since the filter and tank pump are one piece.
