I have a 94 Honda Accord and when I press the button to get the window up on my front drivers side the window gets stuck half way in, than I have to bring it down about an inch than press the up button or use my hand to nudge it up a little and than the window will go up!! is this a regulator problem or is there a problem with the window railing?
Sounds like the motor is tired and needs replacement. If it were the regulator that was bad the window would either bind or slip/skip while going up or down. Honda's are notorious for this mostly due to never lubricating the run channels that the window rides up and down in. Over time from weather exposure the run channels rubber gets tacky and puts unnecessary stress on the motor itself thereby wearing it out prematurely. You can try lubricating the run channels with a silicone based lubricant and this may allow you to prolong the use of the motor you have now.Good luck and hope this helps.
