on a dakota forum website it talks about Bad Factory '93 Wiring Harness Splice on my dakota fuel pump relay its 318 v8 there is alot of talk about a PCM what is a PCM the truck does not fire up it just cranks over there is no sound of fuel pump powering up when i first turn key i already replaced the fuel pump and the plug that it plugs into can anyone help me
where is the PCM located in a 5.2 4x4 truck engine compartment
the pcm is a power train control module,which helps to function the vehicle,you need to hook a scanner to the computer and see what code it will give you,even though it wont start and run ,it will give a trouble code for whats making it not start, id also check the fuse and relay for the fuel pump,that could be the reason the pump is not working also,good luck.
