200$ 68' mustang project car?
I looking into buying 200 mustang to restore the guys say it has a clear title
factory c-code aculpulco blue car with p/s and fold down seat
has a rebuilt 289 never fired with new:edelbrock 4bbl intake,carb,valve covers and air cleaner installed
new:fuel pump,spark plug wires,petronics conversion
rebuilt c-4 auto trans never run installed
new power disc brake kit, booster and master cyl installed (spindles,rotors,bearings,and calipers not installed)
new tu-tone blue seat covers in box not installed
new floors installed and interior por-15ed
battery tray and box installed
good sheet metal needs some body work and some rust repair in lower rear quarters in front of wheel wells not much and small amount in trunk
comes with original doors with all the glass
and some new weather stripping for windshield and doors
has 67 front clip on it with a blinker hood
rear deck lid has rust under lip
should i buy it and how much would it cost to finish it
I think you need to recheck because $200 just doesn't sound right. To do it right if you get it have new quarter panels put on and new front fenders. Any rusty area needs to be completely replaced with all new metal otherwise it will just rust out somewhere else. As far as finishing cost it depends if your doing it or hiring it done. It could be anywhere from$3000 to $20,000
