Fujita vs. Injen CAI...?
I have an 08 tC and want to put a Cold Air Intake on it but I can't decide on Fujita or Injen. The Injen sounds better but isn't a metal tube defeating the purpose of Cold Air? What materials are they made out of? Anyone have any dyno sheets for both? =) Thanks!
I'm not going for so much preformance, becuase the tC is not really meant for high preformance. Hell if I wanted a fast car I woulda got the G35 I was looking at lol. I just want it for the sound and an add to the modifications list =)
hey bro. Why are you limiting it to those 2 brands? They are both aluminum tube alloy. they are both 3'' pipe. IF i were you i'd really go with an AEM over these two brands. the reason is this: the AEM is made out of 2.5'' tubing, which is much easier to fit into the tC's engine bay. you lose about 1hp using the AEM, but its nothing noticeable (you dont really notice anything but sound from a CAI). To install a Fujita or injen on it, you need to remove your drivers side wheel, wheel well liner, battery, battery mount, front bumper and your headlights..plus the other stuff you'll have to take off regardless. its a major pain. And i dont think you'll want to risk that with your beautiful new tC.The AEM one is also cheaper. Its the same thing you'd get if you bough the TRD one from Toyota (its an AEM with TDR badges). SO its up to you, lose <1hp or spend 12 hours installing your CAI. take it easy man!
