99 chevy malibu problems?
I have several problems i would to get help on.
1st problem is that when i am driving uphill hill i seem to lose power the rpm's surge and the only to stop it is to accelerate i little more so that the passing gear kicks in but i dont have this problem on flat terrain.
2nd problem is i have a coolant leak coming from the passenger side coolant seems to be leaking from behind were the power steering pump pulley is i could be wrong.
3rd problem is my trunk dont stay open so i went a got a trunk tension rod from a junk yard to replace it and i cant seem to put it on the tension is when i twist the rod makes it difficult to hook on the bracket that it locks into is there a speacil tool to help with the installation of the tension rod or if some one has some advise on a easy to put on please help with any suggestions.

1. problem needs to be diagnosed by an actual proffesional mechanic. yesdon this will cost money.
2. most likely an intake gasket leak. yes this will cost money.
3. worry about 1 and 2 first.
